🌸 DAHLIA CLUMP SALE 🌸

We’ve started lifting our dahlias and have a selection of dahlia clumps available in the farmstand!

These are sold as whole clumps for you to divide yourself over winter. A great way to add more dahlias to your garden and potentially get multiple plants from a single purchase.

🌸 The Great Autumn Chop 🌸

Before ➡️ After

The dahlias and chrysanthemums have officially been cut back.

Why do we do it? As the plants head into dormancy, cutting away the old growth helps reduce disease, makes dividing and digging easier, and gives us a clean slate for strong spring growth.

It looks a little sad now, but this is where next season begins.

🌸 SEASON CLOSED 🌸

And that’s a wrap!! No more markets, the roadside stall is empty, and Robyn has been very melancholy without my blooms. We are officially done for the season.

What a wild little season it’s been for Mount Napier Flowers. What started as slowly expanding what we established in our first season quickly turned into more growth than we ever expected. We honestly didn’t expect the support we received this year 🥹

Now the winter jobs begin…

Though the paddocks are quiet for now, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes as we dream up new plans, prep for next season, and keep building Mount Napier Flowers into something even more special. The flowers might be done for now, but behind the scenes, we’re already planning even more expansion and exciting things ahead.

The roadside stall and have both been stocked up this morning with fresh seasonal bunches for Mother’s Day weekend 🤍

Our pre-order bouquets officially sold out earlier this week, but we’ve still been busy making up a limited number of bunches for anyone who missed out.

🌸 Byaduk General Store — Sat & Sun 10am–4pm
🌸 Our roadside stall — 2318 Mount Napier Road, Gazette (just before the Penshurst/Byaduk intersection on the Hamilton side)

$35 each and available until sold out.

Filled with fresh chrysanthemums, natives, foliage, and whatever’s looking the prettiest in the garden this week ✨

Our pre-order Mother’s Day bouquets officially sold out this afternoon — thank you so much 🥹🤍

But don’t panic… we’ve still made up a limited number of seasonal bunches for the weekend, available from:

🌸 Our roadside stall — 2318 Mount Napier Road, Gazette (just before the Byaduk/Penshurst intersections)

$35 each and available until sold out.
Cash or PayID available at both locations.

Filled with fresh chrysanthemums, textured foliage, and all the best bits from the garden this week ✨

No two bunches are the same — just big, garden-style bunches packed with whatever’s looking pretty out in the patch.

🌸 MOTHER’S DAY BOUQUETS 🌸

After a lot of back and forth (and watching the weather very closely 👀) we’ve decided to open a limited number of Mother’s Day bouquet orders this week.

Each bouquet will be a large florist-style wrapped bouquet filled with beautiful seasonal blooms grown right here in Gazette.

•$55 per bouquet which includes a card with a handwritten message (please add the message in your order)
•Limited numbers available
•Pickup from our roadside stall Saturday
Limited Sunday pickup available between 7:00am–8:30am (We need to celebrate our mums too 🥰)
•Cash or PayID on pickup

Orders close Friday 6pm or once sold out.

As everything is grown naturally here on the farm, every bouquet will be slightly different and made with the freshest flowers available this week.

🌸 New varieties blooming in the patch 🌸

Slide one- T.W Pocket with a pretty mutation or “sport” where part of the bloom expresses different petal forms or colours from the rest of the plant.

On mums, it can happen because:

* blooms develop at different temperatures/weather conditions
* the plant is genetically unstable (many fancy mums are!)
* some petals revert to older genetics
* stress from rain/cold can make blooms open weirdly or half-and-half

Mother Nature is calling the shots this week 🙃
