Choosing the right retinol for you can depend on a number of things. Have you ever used retinol before? If the answer is no, start with a 0.5% strength, either Potent Retinol Serum or Retinoic Oil - the oil is a better choice for a dry and/or sensitised skin. Start with every third night, then every second night and ultimately use every night once your skin allows it. If you have used retinol before but don’t know the percentage used choose as above.

If you have been using a prescription or clinical strength retinol, then you would choose Retinol Concentrate. Start using it every third night and then every second night, every night when your skin allows it.

Xanthelasma: -Comes from Greek: xanthos (yellow) and elasma (beaten metal plate).-Was described by Addison and Gall in 1851.-Is most often located around the eyes, mostly in the inner canthus. -It is a marker of elevated lipids 50% of the time. -Treatment includes surgical excision, laser therapy, chemical cautherization, electrodessication and cryotherapy.
