Hi all,

Unfortunately, this year’s Windamere Classic will not be going ahead due to family commitments and absence. We’ve done our best to try and accommodate this year’s event however it is just not possible with our young families. We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.

In saying this we do plan on the 2024 Windamere Classic being our biggest and best yet.

Our interim dates for next year’s event are the 27th-29th of September.

Congratulations to the 2022 Lake Windamere Golden Classic winners, team Jigheads. Brad Gardiner, Shane Banks & Neil Hodges managed a total length of 5455mm for their best 10 fish across the weekend. Well done guys, it was a massive effort on a very tough weekends fishing.

Important announcement;

We’ve been informed the bouy at the western end of the dam has been partially submerged due the recent water level rise. It is the responsibility of the skipper to adhere to maritime rules and regulations and be aware of exclusions zones.

Hi All, please drive safe on the roads heading to Windamere this weekend. There is a lot of water about but no major road closures we are aware off yet. For up to date road closures around the Windamere region please check the Mid-Western Regional Council website.

The weather for the weekend is looking really good which is a plus. The dam is full so it will be a bit of a squeeze around the park and the boat ramp. Please be mindful and respectful of each other.

For those wanting to purchase a hoodie and/or stubby cooler, we do not have eftpos capabilities at the dam so please bring cash with you.

Our major sponsor for this year Compleat Angler Bathurst will be open, so make sure you stop in and check out the great range they have, if travelling via Bathurst.

G‘Day all, we have done a small run of unisex hoodies for this year, from sizes M - 2XL.

Please note we will be selling these hoodies from 11am Friday at the tent adjacent to the jumping pillow where the main tent will be set up.

They will be $90 each,
We also have 30th anniversary stubbie holders which are $10 each,

They are AS colour hoods which are the best quality.

We look forward to seeing you all next Friday.

Hey Guys, few details about next weekend.
Briefing will be at 12pm on the Friday.
Session times;
Friday 1.30pm - 6.30pm
Saturday 7am - 3.30pm
Dinner is provided for all competitors on the Saturday night.
Sunday dash for cash details will be announced at the briefing.
Look forward to seeing everybody on Friday.
