Welcome to ORA Fabulous Fibres! We love handmade and are so happy to share a feast of colour and texture with you

ORA has a special love for natural, recycled and specialty yarn for knitting, crochet, macrame, weaving and craft. Our large plant based yarn selection include banana, pineapple, coconut, bamboo, ramie & raffia fibres. We are drawn to yarn recycled from waste materials including sari

silk, linen and wool and adore specialty yarn from artisan producers including Habu Textiles and Daruma. The world is full of glorious yarns - have fun looking at our selection and we hope you are inspired by something beautiful!

Just like that! 2024 done and dusted!.

What a year you have made for us. Alex and I have had so much fun sourcing and sending beautiful, textural, colourful yarns and fibres to you, our amazing, super creative and talented community around the world.

Your words of support and thanks have made us smile, laugh and cry (I have found some of your words incredibly moving - who would have thought that yarn could mean so much!).

We are eternally grateful for your support, patience and encouragement through this year.

Your amazing support has emboldened us to think bigger and be bolder with what we bring to you. So many of you just love to try something different!

Our fabulous natural yarns are popping up in fascinating creations all over the world including artist exhibitions, movies and even New York Fashion Week in 2025 🌟

Most of all your support for natural and upcycled materials is incredibly heartening. Let’s do everything we can to stop treating the planet like we don’t need it anymore! 😔

🧶 Quick heads up, yarn lovers! 🧶

We’re taking a much needed break starting this Friday, Nov 1st, and will return to dispatch orders in late November.

Whilst we are away our shop will stay open, so you can still place orders and plan your next projects, and we will start dispatching again on our return.

✨ Get those orders in by Thursday if you need your yarns soon!
