The Senate just handed down its report on Australia's h**p industry. 147 pages, 71 submissions, 14 recommendations and one in particular we've been waiting years to hear said out loud.

Recommendation 14: payment providers, advertisers, and online platforms should treat legal h**p businesses as... legal businesses. Wild concept, we know.

H**p seeds are sold on supermarket shelves in Australia. They're a regulated, everyday food. And yet the word "h**p" still gets flagged, shadow-banned, and treated like contraband by the platforms h**p businesses rely on every day.

A report isn't reform; it's a roadmap. Nothing changes automatically. But having this stigma named on the national record, by a Senate committee, is real progress.

If you've ever wondered why h**p businesses tiptoe around their own product names online, this is why. And it's exactly what Recommendation 14 could fix.
