Hello world 🌏
I have an open night coming up for the Alif altar items here in the Northern Rivers, Australia.

The night will be at my home studio in Montecollum, and will be on Saturday 12th September 6.30pm - 9pm.

A little video sharing the lighting of one of our antique brass 4-Fold (4 flames) lamps.

These lamps are remakes of antique Persian oil lamp designs - we are using live oil as the fuel in these lamps

And yes, that's a cat's head in the center and a bird on the handle - both animals appear frequently in Persian & Sufi stories

Items will be available for worldwide delivery 🌏

Each piece is unique and the 🔥 is fueled by olive oil... but you can also use sesame oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, macadamia oil, or in a pinch, sunflower and vegetable oil.
But we'll discuss that in more detail soon 🌿

Three lamps from Alif i can't stop watching as they burn.

Living with lamps, regularly like this, is giving me another level of appreciation for fire.
