Thankyou so much Murwillumbah ❤️ your genuine sentiment for us closing our store has really dazed me a little. I did not realise so many people would care or feel a sense of loss
People I haven’t even met before so kindly say “I’m so sorry your store is closing”. That makes you all incredibly kind genuine human beings and I thankyou so much for all your kind gestures
You’ve definitely had a good old shop these past 3 days and we are grateful

Good morning Murwillumbah
We were always hoping to avoid a closing sale with the hope of passing on our business to another
Unfortunately due to the ongoing war in Iran and it’s consequences our potential buyer for July has fallen through 😢
It was never my primary goal to make money from selling Cicada but to leave her here in town for the community
We feel we have served the community well in trying to offer such a broad range that covered so many different age groups and it has been our absolute pleasure to see the 30 year old walk out happy as well as our senior 70-80 year ladies walking out with the same happiness
We will miss all our beautiful customers and the regular faithfulness you have brought to Cicada
I have a new opportunity upcoming and have to move quickly on this so we will be on sale from Monday looking to close at the end of June
The move for me is about my family with both parents turning 90 this year. I will now be able to get to them quickly rather than a 7 hour drive!
We will be offering a store wide 25% off full priced stock from tomorrow
