Geological George is an Australian family owned rock.fossil and mineral specimen store. Every weekend we operate a market stall in Northern NSW and SE Qld, with over 200kgs of crystals at every market. During the week we offer online sales for a range of goods; from rough pieces to high end collectables, information on geology and small-scale wholesale services.

We can thank the Chicxulub impact that wiped out the non-avian dinosaurs 66 million years ago for this amazing material coming out of the Deccan Traps in India.

I broken geode...
This came out of the Moroccan calcite geodes. A stunning dog tooth calcite geode, unfortunately in more pieces than intended. I can't complain as this is the first broken one in the last 10 boxes!

These are calcite geodes from Morocco. They formed in marine sediments, (probably) during the Eocene epoch millions of years ago.

Moroccan mineral flats.
These are fantastic value, they are approx 24x34cm and usualy contain around 22 to 26 specimens. If you are interested in these send us a message and we can show you some flats.
