The Petal Folk are proud to support local sports, especially the Denman Rugby League “Old Devils”. Hopefully the Petal Bloke and his mates recover from this promptly 😂

Happy Fathers Day to the two who never say no to me… The Petal Bloke, and The Petal Pop. Both signed up for a job they did not agree to, or had any say in, and both love it - let’s be honest. David (Husband) for example, delivering a wedding for me at 5pm on Tuesday after his actual job - absolute last minute, and got it done without complaining. Steve (Dad) collecting flowers most weeks for us and delivering back to the shop so we can keep sharing the love with you all. Eternally grateful for them both. Along with all the other Dads who have ever had a part in The Petal Folk. Unclogging the drains, or pouring the wine, or picking up kids while we pump out long hours sometimes. Or even just customers ordering flowers for your own loved ones. Thank you - and Happy Fathers Day. Special thoughts to those missing their Dad today. Sending all the love your way ♥️.

Meet RUBY. Whilst you might not see Ruby for a few weeks now as she completes her Teaching Prac, Ruby has likely answered the phone to your call over the last few months or served you at our counter. Bright. Bubbly. Creative - and 20-something which is very helpful for those of us who are tech-delayed. She came into our little space to help for an hour or so a week whilst we got things going and very quickly became someone we can’t live without! If you have ever heard “have a wonderful rest of your day…” that’s Ruby. I’ll be sad when she finishes her Uni studies and moves into Teaching- but the kids of the future are in great hands, so we are ok with that…. We love her. 💕💕

Lately, we’ve had the honour of creating a number of floral tributes for families saying goodbye to their loved ones.

It’s not something we often share, but we wanted to express our sincere gratitude to those who have trusted us during such a deeply personal time.

Creating farewell flowers is a privilege we never take lightly. Every arrangement is thoughtfully designed with care, compassion and respect, with the hope that it brings a small measure of comfort and reflects the life and love being remembered.

To every family who has entrusted us with this responsibility, thank you. Supporting our community through life’s most joyful celebrations, and its hardest goodbyes, is something we are truly honoured to do. 🤍
