We are now open on most Public Holidays!

Except for Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day

All open days are subject to Volunteers The gallery is a not for profit organisation, showcasing local history and run by volunteers from the community. The permanent collection of the gallery has a regular rotation and there are two areas in the building available for hire for private and community functions. We also run workshops and training and have a retail outlet for local quality items and artwork.

Rainy days can be great for creating art!

And as a reminder, the Naracoorte Art Gallery is looking for artworks!

We are hosting a "My Place Mini-Scapes" exhibition for the end of the year and we want your art!

We want your best scenes from the Naracoorte Lucindale Council District and we want them SMALL!! (40x40 or A4 size - all work should be 2D although we will accept shadow boxes in the correct size)

We also want to SELL all the work, so make sure they are easy to travel and ready to go!

Lastly, we want all these works into the gallery by 8 November, so don't waste this rainy day - start your art!!

Gary Taylor's School Holiday workshop "Creating Shapes" for Wednesday 30 September at 10:30am has SOLD OUT!!

Because of the great response we've gotten, we have decided to amend our workshop schedule.

We will now run a SECOND Creating Shapes workshop on THURSDAY, 1 OCTOBER from 10:30 am.

This workshop is perfect for kids ages 5 - 9 (although they must still be accompanied by an adult)

Tickets are $25 per child (parents do not need a separate ticket)

School holidays are here!!
The Naracoorte Art Gallery is so excited to be one of the stops for The Naracoorte's Great Explorer Passport!

Come in and colour in an Ibis, or draw your own to receive your stamp!

Don't have a passport yet? Stop in at the Naracoorte Library to get your passport

The Gallery is open weekdays from 10-4
Weekends and Public Holidays 10-3

You can collect your stamps
From 25 September to 31 October

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to support the Naracoorte Art Gallery, and our two amazing exhibitions.

If you missed tonight, don't panic! Both exhibitions are open from 2 September-11 October

Our camera club is presenting the 14th edition of their "Captured Images" exhibition

And multi-discipline artist Anne Emerson's exhibition "Eclecticism" is her first solo show

Stop in and have a look around, see some gorgeous images and beautiful paintings
