🚨 Dorcas Opening Hours Switch 🚨

From 1 June to 5 October, we will be trialing a small change to our opening hours, while our superstar volunteers have escaped us for holidays, life, grandkids, adventures… and probably warmer weather 😜

We will be looking to change the hours as follows

❌ CLOSED Thursdays
✅ OPEN Mondays 3pm – 5pm

Before anyone panics… you’re only losing a measly 2 hours of shopping time a week 😂

Same bargains. Same treasures.

We’ll have boxes of clothing outside the shop during opening hours — these are items that might be:
✔ Slightly marked
✔ A little worn
✔ In need of a wash or minor fix

…but still good, wearable pieces that deserve a second life 💚

✨ Completely FREE
✨ Clearly marked (so no confusion with shop stock)
✨ Available while we’re open

Whether you’re a bargain hunter, love a DIY fix-up, or just hate seeing good clothes go to waste — come have a browse!

You know that exciting moment… standing at the doors of Dorcas just before you walk in… wondering what treasure you’re about to discover! 👀

Every visit is a little treasure hunt. Some people walk out with vintage gems, others find absolute bargains they didn’t even know they needed!

🕘 Open 8am – 12pm Monday to Saturday (until Easter)
⏰ Hours will change after Easter.

12 midday close till after Easter. Sorry everyone....with the hot days still ahead, the building is too hot for volunteers to work after 12 midday. So, we will continue with summer hours 8 - 12 until after Easter. Then 7 April, we'll resume winter hours 9 - 1pm. PS..Have you designed a new logo for us yet. Closes 28 March.

However, Dorcas Narrogin now operates independently, which means it’s time for our own identity.

So we’re opening this up to the community 👇

🖌️ DESIGN A NEW LOGO FOR DORCAS NARROGIN
✔ Computer-generated or hand-drawn
✔ Text, symbol, or the word Dorcas
✔ Any shape
✔ Must work at small scale (letterheads) and large scale (signage)
✔ Two colours only: BLUE & WHITE
✔ Make it very different — no coat hangers please
