Flywheel is a unique store situated in New Norfolk, Tasmania specialising in vintage office items, stationery and letterpress goods printed by us in store.

All good things must come to an end! To allow for some new ideas to come to fruition we are saying farewell to the Monahan posters that have taken pride of place in the middle of our store. The remaining stock of these beauties are now discounted online and in store to $6 each, making it the perfect time to start a gallery wall all of your own 🖼️

A reminder that we are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, open Thursday to Monday 10am until 4:30pm.

Very exciting new products from Galen Leather have arrived! Pen cases in lovely soft leather with fancy handwoven silk linings. A4 Leather Compendiums that are so well thought and the Nib Circle is wonderful for keeping all your nibs safe. We’ve just added these to our website and they will be launching tomorrow morning there. Our physical store will be shut for the public holiday, as well as our usual Tuesday/Wednesday, but these beauties will be ready when we reopen our doors on Thursday ✍️

Look at these little cuties! As you can tell, we have welcomed the new size of Traveler’s Notebook with open arms and are very excited for the launch of the limited edition Card Size Sets this Thursday April 23rd! Three cheers for 20 years 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Both Black and Brown sets will be available in store (from 10am) and online (from 7am), however as these items are limited please note that they may sell out quickly. But fear not! If you miss out this time around we will be receiving a second drop of stock later in the year.

Each set includes: Traveler’s notebook Card Size, Refill Notebooks, Cotton Zipper Case, Kraft Paper Folder, and Connecting Rubber Bands.

Planning on visiting us here in the over the Easter long weekend? We will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday, however open both Saturday and Sunday 10am until 4:30pm 🐇 Even better, our sister store will be holding an Autumn Brocante, an outdoor French flea market, from 9:30am Saturday with lots of vintage treasures!

Here you can view our entire range of fountain pens in the one area, test each type to your hearts content, and maybe even pick up a beautiful new ink or two 🖋️
