WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE (unlit) CANDLE? Do you know?

Have you heard of TUNNELLING?

Tunnelling occurs when a candle wick consumes too much fuel (wax & fragrance) too quickly. Instead of a slowly forming, wide melt pool that extends to the edges of a container (at least after approx. 2 hours of burning), a narrow melt pool forms in the centre and burns down quickly, leaving a large amount of wax on the sides of the container.

What to do now?

We now need to test and see whether we need to increase or decrease the size of the candle wick.
