Congratulations to our August Community Champions Grant winner: YWCA Hunter Region Inc. 🎉

YWCA Hunter is fundraising to keep the ENCORE Breast Cancer Recovery Program free for women across the Hunter region. ENCORE is an evidence-based 8-week program that combines gentle land and pool exercise, relaxation, education and peer support to help women regain strength, confidence and wellbeing following breast cancer treatment. The annual Walk for ENCORE community fundraiser raises vital funds to ensure no woman has to pay to participate in the program. This year, the $1,000 gift voucher grant will be used for major prizes in their Walk for ENCORE raffle. We wish them all the very best!
