6 Years of LAATE.
This decision hasn’t been easy. It’s brought us to tears and pushed us to our limits. LAATE has been more than just a store!!
it’s been a space for friendships, for culture, for the passion of skateboarding. A place of stories and laughs, of highs and lows, of growth and community. A revolving door of faces, boards, and unforgettable moments. A place to just be—whoever you are.
We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you who has supported us along the way.
As a couple and dog running this business hasn’t been easy. 7days a week, through the challenges of start-up, COVID, relocating, health scares, flooded market and an economy where small business feel the pressure most! We have poured everything into LAATE, unfortunately it’s not enough!
While we’ve experienced the best of the skate industry, we’ve also come to realise that some parts just aren’t for us. But through it all, we’ve been reminded of the impact LAATE has had on our community, and for that, we are proud.
