Welcome to Nick's Video Vet! Why a vet and not a doctor? Well, some of these tapes can be absolute animals 😂 Not to mention, some are too far gone and I'm pretty sure doctors don't put down their patients.

A successful day nonetheless. Three tapes cleaned, two work flawlessly, Straw Dogs intermittently. Yet to figure out the issue. Picture is fine, but audio drops out every few seconds. There could still be some residue amidst the tape folds, but I was pretty certain I cleaned them out. May need to take the old Straw Dog round back.

But either way, I will be putting the finishing touches on this aspect of the business before I start taking any external offerings. But once I'm done, Nick's Video Vet and Tape Digitising Clinic, a new subsidiary of Nick's DVDs will be open for business!

Ladies and gentlemen, the surgery was a success without any major complications. What was an unplayable tape is now buttery smooth! (For the most part).

The tape was deeply covered in mould, enough to clog up the cleaning pads a quarter of the way through. After a few passes, the tape began to show it's blackish grey glory, free from fungi and dust.

While it is not 100%, it is a great step in the right direction towards a mould free tape future!
