*Bodhi closes its doors*

After 17 years or so Bodhi is closing its shop at 375 King Street Newtown. We’ll be wrapping up in a couple of weeks towards the end of March.

We’ve had wonderful landlords, and a whole lot of incredible customers, we’ve had brilliant members of our Bodhi team, and suppliers who are creative and responsive. We would like to thank each and every one of you who have helped us on this journey, enabling us to impact a multitude of lives and experiences. We hope for you this connection has been wholly, or at least mainly, positive and inspiring.

As most of you would be aware, the retail environment over the last few years, particularly for brick & mortar shops, has been extremely difficult. While all of us at Bodhi are still greatly inspired by this project, the financial reality means we are having to reassess and re-imagine what Bodhi means.

We would like to see in the future something rise from the ashes of our presence on King Street. We will certainly keep you posted…

In the meantime, Bodhi will keep up its online shop along with Windhorse Books, which continues to offer Buddhist books and practitioner gear to bookstores, Buddhist groups and individuals. If you have a gift voucher, be assured we will still honour that through both projects.

Please continue to support us and sign up to our mailing list for news or through our social media. We’ll be offering some special discounts this week, so drop by one last time if you can.
