If you haven't tried a Canele before, you better be quick if you want to try one of Folie douce's - as there are not many left of their yummy french delights. There is not much bread left either at the The Bread & Butter Project. Margin's Mushrooms are being spruked by cheeky Charlie and we just found out that unfortunately, David Hannaford's olive crop did not herald what he was hoping for, so if you love his oil, get some today as he won't have more for some time.

Tomorrow, Sentosa Trio will be farewelling the market from 12 - 2pm. Being our most loved minstrels, they have been playing at the market for over 22 years and were known as the Moods when there were 4 of them in their earlier days. We've had many great musicians play at the market and we thank each and every one of them and we look forward to hearing all of the day's music at the final market tomorrow - bring your tissues.

So, as you may know, this Saturday, June 11th is our final market, so we thought we'd share with you some shots from the market's past from when it started as a fundraiser for the North Sydney Community Centre over 33 years ago. When parents from Explorers Playgroup and After School Care would volunteer their time, setting up the market, doing shifts on the sausage sizzle and drinks stall and then packing everything down. Check out the great outfits!
