Released in 1958 on Capital records, Les Baxter's Space Escapades is an other worldly musical journey into what Les perceived to be the future of music.

Space Escapades is an exotic and symphonic instrumental masterpiece that helped define the short lived phenomenon of exotica, lounge, and space-age symphonies, that was a commercial smash amongst mature audiences from the late 50's to early 60's.

Here at Sonic Rendezvous Music, we absolutely love Rose Tattoo, along with AC/DC, they embody everything that Sonic Rendezvous Music stands for, which is hard and heavy, four on the floor, uncompromising rock n roll.

With that said, rest in peace to one Australia's finest, Mr Gary "Angry" Anderson, thanks for the music, you'll definitely be missed.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gary “Angry” Anderson on the eve of Monday 21 September 2026, surrounded by his loved ones here in Australia.

Angry was a devoted father, and much-loved member of his friends, bandmates and the wider music and entertainment community. His loss will be deeply felt by all those who knew and loved him both here in Australia and overseas.

The family and band members are asking for privacy at this difficult time and will not be giving interviews. We kindly ask that their wishes are respected as they come to terms with this devastating loss and take time they need to grieve.

We thank everyone for their prays and messages of love and continued support.

With love, The Anderson family and Rose Tattoo Band.
Stay young, grow strong.

Our thoughts go out to our friend Angry Anderson, and his band of outlaws Rose Tattoo.

Rest up Angry, hope to see you back out there sometime soon.

On behalf of Angry and his family, we would like to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming messages of support, love and kind words.

Your thoughts, prayers and well wishes mean more to Angry and his family than we can express.

We would like to let everyone know that Angry suffered a cardiac arrest and is currently in hospital receiving treatment and the care he needs.

At this time, we kindly ask that you please respect the privacy of Angry and his family as they focus on Angry, his treatment and his recovery. We appreciate everyone's understanding and ask that you continue to keep Angry and his family in your thoughts and prayers during the days ahead.

We are incredibly grateful for the love and support that has already been shown. It is comforting to know just how many people are thinking of Angry and wishing him strength in his recovery.

Thank you again for your kindness, understanding and continued support.

With love and gratitude,

Angry & Family
