Below i have posted the link for everyone to be able to upload a submission in relation to the Review of the Exposure Draft Legislation: Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill 2026

This legislation has a number of very concerning aspects to it which will not only impact your free speech as Australians but also impact you as law abiding firearm owners. It also is a direct attack on your integrity

We urge everyone to make a submission. It doesnt have to be complicated and lon. It can just be a few short paragraphs about how this new legislation will affect you!

Simply write your submission in Word and Upload it.

Fi****ms dealers are reporting that some licence holders are attempting to surrender fi****ms prematurely following the passage of the Bill.

👉 There is NO immediate seizure of fi****ms for licence holders currently above proposed limits.

Until the legislation is formally assented and gazetted, existing arrangements remain in place.
Further information on compliance requirements and the buyback scheme will be provided before any new limits take effect.

Please do not panic and do not take irreversible action based on speculation.

As you are no doubt aware, we are facing an unprecedented challenge in relation to fi****ms legislation in New South Wales, and potentially nationwide. This is a deeply concerning time for our industry.

I want to reassure you that industry bodies and peak industry representatives are working closely and continuously, in some cases multiple times each day, to ensure the strongest possible response is put forward on behalf of lawful firearm owners, dealers, and the broader community.

We have now reached a point where we are asking our dealer network to step in and assist. Your voice, and the voice of your customer base, matters. We need your support to help ensure that decision makers hear from those who understand this industry best.

We ask that you encourage your customers to take the following actions.

1. Write to their local Member of Parliament expressing concern regarding the rushed nature of the proposed legislation and the lack of meaningful industry consultation.
• Attached to this email you will find key points that may be used as guidance.
2. Correspondence should be addressed to local Members of Parliament, the Minister for Police, and the Premier. Contact details are included with this email.
3. Clearly express concern about the absence of consultation with industry experts and stakeholders who work within the existing regulatory framework every day.
4. Emphasise that rushed laws are often poorly considered laws, and that fi****ms legislation demands careful, informed, and balanced decision making.
