Some absolutely banging new Crime/Thriller releases have graced our bench today! Plus a reminder that we have a whole slew of Agatha Christie First Edition reproductions in mint condition!

Also! My personal favorite edition of The Hunger Games has landed back in store! Absolutely nothing beats these gold foiled edges, the only way this set could be better is if it was in hardcover with the other two hunger games stories with purple and green foiled edges to match the aesthetic!

After yesterday’s video fell flat (or so it felt lol) I shall not quit my day job for a career in acting 🤣 probably for the best! However, I am still in the Non-Fiction trenches fighting the good fight. Today’s coffee was overpowering flavor-wise but the caffeine? It does nothing! 😩 Anyway, if you need me, I’ll be playing musical shelves while I try and fit more things onto the shelves (and yes, for the eagle eyed, there is an empty shelf… antics ensue).

Diary of a Civil War inspired Bookseller: “Day 374 of the Great Book War. The battle for space continues and I fear it is a losing one. This is not a case of winning the battle, nor the war… no, we are losing on all fronts. I fear my end will be beneath a pile of Non-Fiction and while I dread the day, I will welcome the end as an old friend.”

Obviously, I am being overly dramatic for effect and I love my job. Also, forgive my old timey accent… I am, after all, not an actor. 😅 I did the best with the skills I have! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway, I’m currently listening to Operation Bounce House by Matt Dinniman and while it didn’t grab me like Dungeon Crawler Carl, it has grown on me and it ISN’T an Audible exclusive, so we sell them on Libro.FM!

Tons of books in again; an entire Daphne Du Maurier collection ($90 for 9 books?! AND half credit back?), more Freida McFadden, and a slew war and true crime!

Anyway back to it… no matter how much I love procrastinating!

Thanks to our most prolific romance reader, we’ve got some excellent new reads in!

Sarah A Parker’s Rapunzel inspired Romantasy might only rate 🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the spice level, but she’s also well known for crafting well written romantasy with When the Moon Hatched, which I quite enjoyed!

Lauren Palphreyman lands 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ with The Wolf King and The Night Prince. One book still to come!

Amelia Shaw’s reverse harem romantasy also lands 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ for its wolf shifter loving! 😱

Lola is rated Explicit and Plentiful (aka 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️) for its romance! Looks like I organized them in spice order! 🤣

Tenth attempt, no books were harmed during the filming of this video, my patience however? Mortally wounded. Also, really hard to spin when I am completely surrounded by books!

Sprayed edges, new to us books, and a whole bunch of Non Fiction; all to hit the floor today!

Lastly, I don’t think I was evil enough in this video… much room to improve! Also need to make some room to spin properly! I thought the cat book was a clever touch… much more allergy friendly!

Who needs AI with transitions like these? 🤣

I’m boxing up books for donating onto their next home AND to continue clearing myself an at work writing space! I’m very excited about this, even if it is only an hour a shift! I had a guy over on Threads ask me if I’m struggling to write, why not use AI and then edit? I told him I’d rather NOT write than use AI. Also, when I talk about AI in general, I mean generative AI as I realize AI encompasses a lot of other decent ways to use it.

Just finished John Sandford’s Rules of Prey and what an excellent ending, twist, and overall thriller! I already sold the copy we had but if you don’t mind diving in out of order, we have plenty of others!

Another day, another dollar (at least it sounds better if I round up)!

Welcome to another installment of “if I didn’t have terrible luck, I’d have none at all” and I’m the star, TJ Edwards. Five minutes and I’m down to half of my food for the day and starting off with more work than originally planned. Not bad for a chaos gremlin such as myself, at least nothing is on fire! *knocks on wood*

Before I get stuck into the literal pile of books, I just wanted to thank everyone for their support! I’m up against some really tough sales days to match last year (to put it in perspective, last year’s 7-9th was the same total as what we’ve done from this year’s 1-6th). So, if you’ve been planning a trip in, by all means! If you can’t make it in and aren’t interested in the books I post, just share us or tell your friends! We will take that love too! 🥰
