After a lot of thought, weโve made the difficult decision to close the doors to our physical store and transition Spellbound Stories back to being an online bookstore.
Opening our little store has been such a huge experience, and we are incredibly grateful to every single person who has walked through our doors, bought a book, attended an event, joined our book club, chatted with us, recommended us to a friend, or simply stopped by to say hello. You have made this space so much more than shelves full of books. ๐ค
Our last day of trading in store will be Saturday 19 September 2026, and our final in store book club will be held on Wednesday, 23 September. All of our current booked events are going ahead as normal, so make sure to grab a ticket if youโre wanting to come along!
Weโll be reducing our store hours as of this week as we begin the transition, so thereโs still time to come in, browse the shelves and say goodbye. ๐ฅน
This isnโt the end of Spellbound Stories - but it is the end of this particular chapter, and that makes it a bittersweet one. Thank you for supporting our little dream and for making our store such a special part of our lives. We hope youโll stick around for whatever comes next. โจ
