🚿 Hot Water On The Road.
One of our favourite features in our larger van designs is the external hot water shower, and its placement is intentional; it's all part of how we think about every design element, from aesthetics to function.
We’ve mounted ours on the rear side of the van, and here’s why that matters:
✅ No wet door areas and no wet bay area. When you use it, water isn’t splashing back across your barn doors or soaking the rear foot area of the van. It keeps the space clean, contained, and dry.
✅ Fully external = zero risk inside. Unlike builds where the shower and tap boxes are mounted internally at the back of the vehicle, ours uses an external/internal pe*******on, which means no drips, no seals to fail over time, and absolutely no risk of water entering your van’s internals if things go wrong. That’s peace of mind you genuinely can’t put a price on.
✅ Still totally versatile. The hose has plenty of length to reach the rear if that’s your vibe! Hang a privacy curtain between the barn doors, set up a shower tent on the side, or rinse off al fresco in the bush. You do you.
✅ Way more than just a shower. Think post-surf rinse, washing up dishes outside, scrubbing down the mountain bike after a muddy trail, or cleaning gear without flooding the van's rear. This thing works hard.
You see a lot of Instagram-perfect vans with fancy internal shower tap boxes for external shower setups at the back. They look great in stories. But when you’re living and travelling in your van for real? Practical, reliable, and protected beats pretty every single time.
