Quick Cookidoo® search for “mince” and I was reminded of the classic Aussie Meat Pie recipe 🙌🏼

10 minutes of kitchen time later.. pastry from scratch and the meat is on and cooking.

Take them out for ice cream and you’re easily spending $25-30 before you’ve even parked the car.

This took 5 minutes in the Thermomix and cost less than a single scoop at a gelateria.

Mixed berry fruity dream: 500g frozen berries, 1 egg, 60g sugar. That’s it. Three ingredients, no additives, no stabilisers, no glucose syrup.

The kids didn’t notice the difference. My wallet did.

I’ve spoken on my page before about the absolute PITA that it is when you have kids that don’t eat much.

Well while we were at Hamilton Island my son discovered a new food hyper fixation, thanks to my sister Caitlin!

Banana pancakes. 🍌🥞

We have been home for 48 hours.. I have made very large batches twice already because they are pretty much the only thing he has wanted to eat for the last 5 days.

Breakfast ✅
Lunch ✅
After school ✅
With dinner ✅
Dinner ✅

Honestly.. should we take bets on how long this one will last?

Our previous one was crumpets and that lasted for 4 weeks.. now it’s these 🫠😂

At least it’s easy to sneak good ingredients into these! 🙌🏼

Banana, honey, Greek yoghurt, milk, eggs, SRF and kids tasteless protein powder.

And sorry.. can’t give a recipe.. I wing them 😂🙈
