Over on Instagram, you can follow the Touches of Ink Insta Hop for August

I have used the Butterfly Flight hot foil bundle, which has hot foil dies, regular dies and masks. I used the hot foil die with gold foil on vellum, then turned this over to add colour to the back with the masks and blending brushes. Of course, this means turning the masks over as well!

It's time for another Touches of Ink Insta hop! This month, I've used the Scenic Coast Suite to create my card. The gorgeous paper makes it so easy. You do need to take care when die cutting your top mat to make sure the waterline of the die cut lines up with the waterline of the printed paper. I have die cut the birds in Night of Navy and Lemon Lolly, slightly offsetting the Lemon Lolly behind the Night of Navy to give a shadow effect. The netting has been cut in Night of Navy to give subtle texture to the bottom of the card.
Check out what the rest of the team have done this month on Instagram.

This month, the colours to use for the We Fall in Colours team are Lemon Lime Twist, Misty Moonlight and Daffodil Delight. I used the Rolling Waves bundle to create my card. To give the card a more textured look, I have stamped the Daffodil Delight cardstock with the sand stamp, using Daffodil Delight ink. I have used Misty Moonlight two-tone cardstock and crumpled it before flattening again.
To break up the starkness of the lower wave die cut, I have used Misty Moonlight ink with a Blending Brush.

For this month's Fall in Colours challenge, we were asked to create our project using Real Red, Timid Tiger and Crisp Cantaloupe. I used blending brushes to create my background. I used a sunburst die from Sunset Coast bundle to create the focal point. The three birds were cut from black then white, and the black adhered over the top of the white so that only a tiny bit showed, to give a shadow effect. The card base is Timid Tiger, with a mat of Real Red under the black top mat.
Hop on through the links below to see what the rest of the team have made using this colour combination.

For the April We fall in Colours challenge, the colours we were given to create our project were Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green, and Calypso Coral.
I have used the Gallery Blooms Bundle to create my card, using Granny Apple Green Blends for the leaves, but a Blender pen to pick up Calypso Coral ink for the flowers.
The background has been embossed with the Beautiful Pattern 3D folder
