🚨🐴 FEI EVENT RIDERS… IS YOUR WHIP ABOUT TO BE BANNED?! 👀

Big changes are coming to FEI Eventing whip rules from 1 January 2027!

Padded whips (or no whip) will be mandatory for the Showjumping & Cross Country phases, but not all padded whips will be compliant!

Here’s what you need to know 👇

📏 Maximum overall length: 75cm
📏 Minimum padded length: 20cm
📏 Minimum pad width: 2.5cm
✅ Padding must be smooth, soft, shock-absorbing, dark and non-reflective
❌ Leather padding, raised bindings and raised surfaces are NOT permitted!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: These changes apply to FEI Eventing. Don’t confuse them with the rules for other disciplines or national-level competitions.

📖 Always refer to the official FEI Eventing Rules and Tack & Equipment Requirements for the full specifications before competing. This reel is a quick guide, not a substitute for the rulebook!

Our EQ Pakenham team is heartbroken by the loss of Dani after her battle with cancer.

Dani was an amazing human being who never failed to put a smile on people’s faces. Her warmth, kindness and beautiful spirit touched so many of us and she will be missed dearly.

Our thoughts are with Dani’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest Peacefully, Dani you will never be forgotten
