It is with heavy hearts (and even heavier femurs) that we announce the passing of our beloved Pakenham Antique & Collectible Fair mascotโ€ฆ Sir Cedric Bonesworth III โ˜ ๏ธ
A true gentleman of the 18th century, Cedric had a stiff upper lip (well, he would haveโ€ฆ if he still had lips). He stood proudly at our fair, charming guests, photobombing selfies, and never once complaining about the drafty conditions.
But alas, time caught up with dear Cedric โ€” sometime between the Georgian period and our last sausage sizzle. Heโ€™s now officially bone idle and will no longer be haunting the halls of the Cardinia Cultural Centre.
๐Ÿง So weโ€™re on the hunt for a new skeletal mascot โ€” preferably born in the 18th or 19th century, with good bone structure, a flair for vintage fashion, and a natural talent for standing completely still.
If you know of a suitably antique spirit (or a skeleton with charisma), send them our way โ€” applications open now. No flesh required.

The first Pakenham Antique Fair was initiated and run by JEWEL BEARD about 22 years ago as a fundraising effort for the 4 C's food bank (4 churches combined) . It was the held at the old race course. Jewel still participates in the fair and will be at Site 13.

The Pakenham Antique Fair has become a much-loved tradition for collectors, treasure hunters, history lovers and curious browsers alike. Over the years, the fair has welcomed thousands of visitors through the doors โ€” all searching for that special item with a story to tell. The first Fair was initiated and run by JEWEL BEARD about 22 years ago as a fundraising effort for the 4 C's food bank (4 churches combined) . It was the held at the old race course. Jewel still participates in the fair and will be at Site 13.

From fine china and vintage jewellery to rustic farmhouse pieces, retro collectables, old books, coins, tools, toys and forgotten curiosities, the fair has always been about more than just buying antiques. Itโ€™s about preserving history, sharing memories and connecting generations through the objects of the past.
Many dealers have been attending for years, bringing fresh stock and fascinating knowledge with them each time. Visitors often tell us they come not only for the treasures, but for the atmosphere โ€” the conversations, the nostalgia and the excitement of discovering something unexpected.
The fair has grown into one of the regionโ€™s favourite antique fairs.
Whether youโ€™re a serious collector, decorating your home, chasing vintage bargains or simply love a good wander through history, the Pakenham Antique Fair continues to offer something special for everyone.

Now that the Belgrave & Hills Antique & Collectables Fair has wrapped up, itโ€™s time to start looking ahead to the next treasure huntโ€ฆ the Pakenham Antique & Collectibles Fair ! ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ“š
If you loved the atmosphere at Berwick, youโ€™ll feel right at home in Pakenham with stalls packed full of antiques, vintage collectibles, retro treasures, jewellery, coins, records, old tools, advertising signs, china, books and all those wonderful โ€œI remember these!โ€ moments.
