What are your plans for the weekend?

My dad-in-law is visiting from New Zealand, so we started our weekend early and took him—and Delphi Dog—to the SWELL Sculpture Festival today!

Pearls, gems, sequins, brads, buttons, resin pieces… maybe even something so old you've completely forgotten where it came from.
Find some neglected embellishments and give them a starring role on today's project.

Go and investigate that ribbon stash. You know the one. The ribbon you loved so much you apparently decided the safest thing to do was never actually use it. 😂
Your mission today is simple: find a ribbon you haven’t used in ages and put it on something!

Okay crafty people… I have a challenge for you. And for once, it involves NOT buying more craft supplies. 😱😂

For the next 14 days, we’re going shopping in our own craft rooms with my 14-Day Use Your Stash Challenge!

We’re going to dig out the ribbons, papers, embellishments, stamps, tools and assorted crafty treasures that we absolutely HAD to have… and then somehow forgot to use.
There’s something different to rediscover every day, and I’ll be playing along too.

No need to make anything complicated. A card, tag, scrapbook page or whatever takes your fancy. Just use the prompt, make something and share it with us.

You can play every day or work through the challenges at your own pace. No craft police here!

Well… I finally did it! I poured and painted my very first resin embellishments. 🎉

I bought the paint a year ago, some moulds and resin back in March, then naturally added a few more moulds to my collection at CraftAlive. Apparently buying all the supplies doesn’t magically turn them into finished embellishments. Who knew? 😂

I was very enthusiastic about trying something new…but also just a teensy bit scared to actually begin. Today, with a gentle nudge from Megan, I finally gave it a go—and I’m rather chuffed with how these little characters turned out!

I was actually going to pop them into a drawer and wait until I found the perfect project for them. Apparently, I’m not allowed to wait another year before using them. 🤣

Thursdays are my time to try something new—whether it’s a new fold, a papercrafting technique or a little mixed-media adventure.

A big thank you to Nat for the moulds and paint, Sharni for the resin recommendation, and Megan for giving me the push I needed. It was great to learn something new.

🦩Can you help me turn my flamingo feathers pink?

Each year I set myself a personal sales goal — and this year I’m so close I can almost ruffle those flamingo feathers! 🦩

I have until 30 September 2026 to reach my goal of $17,000 in sales for the Stampin’ Up! Year, so I’ve created this little flamingo progress chart. Each feather represents another $100 in orders, and I’ll colour them in as we go.

If you’ve been thinking about placing an order—even a smaller one—it would mean so much to have your help. Every order adds a little more pink to my flamingo and takes me another step closer to my goal.

What a lovely turnout for Coffee, Cake & Cards this morning! 💕

There were plenty of laughs, lots of inky fingers and, of course, a little bit of cake… well, donuts for me actually! 😂 Someone has to do the quality control.

Today we stepped up last week’s Make & Take, adding a few extra layers and details to create a fabulous celebration card. Because apparently I’m not very good at leaving well enough alone… there’s always room for another layer! 😂

And just in case you’re wondering… I can highly recommend the Boston cream donuts and coffee. Soooo yummy! ☕🍩 I take the “Coffee & Cake” part of Coffee, Cake & Cards very seriously.

Thanks to everyone who came along for a lovely crafty morning. Lots of creating, chatting, laughing and the occasional “where did I put that?”… usually while it was sitting right in front of us. 😂
