Here’s a thought……

Let’s be honest, like everyone, I joined Stampin’ Up! for the discount! 😂

Back in 2012, I loved crafting, I loved the products, and getting a discount on all the stamps, paper and ink I was already buying seemed like a pretty good idea!

Little did I know that one decision would end up changing my life in ways I could never have imagined. 💚

Because somewhere along the way, it stopped being just about the discount and the amazing products we get to play with.

It became about the people. ❤️

The friendships I have made over all these years are something I could never put a value on. People who started as customers, team members or fellow demonstrators have become genuine friends, some of my closest friends.

Some live around the corner, some interstate and some on the other side of the world. Without Stampin’ Up!, our paths probably never would have crossed.

We’ve crafted together, laughed until we cried, travelled together, encouraged each other, celebrated achievements and supported each other when life hasn’t been quite so easy.

The Bec who joined in 2012 just to get a discount would never have believed where this journey would take her, travelling, presenting, teaching, sharing what I love and building the most beautiful crafting community along the way.

There have been so many amazing opportunities, but when I look back over all these years, they’re not what means the most to me.

The people are.

Crafting might have brought us together, but friendship is what has kept us together. 💕

I’m so grateful I made that decision back in 2012. I thought I was signing up for cheaper craft supplies… 😂

Instead, I found a community, lifelong friendships, incredible memories and a place where I truly feel like I belong.

And really, that’s what Bec’s House of Craft has become for me:

Here’s to the friendships already made, the memories we’re still creating and all the wonderful people I haven’t even met yet.
