An astronomical night at Zema Estate Wines✨🍷

Yesterday’s “Constellations and Cluny” event at Zema Estate Wines, part of Cellar Dwellers happening now in Coonawarra, was such a special evening.

Set among candlelight, wine, food, barrels and stories of the stars, it was a lovely reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us — from our own place here in Coonawarra, right out to the planets, stars and constellations above.

A big thank you to Ockert le Roux Photography for such an engaging presentation, and to the team at Zema Estate for the thought and effort put into the night — from the beautiful setting to star gazing with our phones and the cosy fire pit outside.

We also look forward to seeing Christy Radford’s official photos from the evening.

A truly memorable night celebrating wine, community and the wonder of the night sky. ✨

Since taking over the Penola Post Office on January 12th, 2024, it has been exactly 866 days—and we are absolutely overwhelmed by the warmth and support this community has shown us.

Whether we are processing your passport applications, handling the daily mail, offering wine pick-ups to our local wineries, or taking care of packages for our beloved customers, it has been an absolute joy.

Have you seen our new Community Pantry?

Gaynor has set up this wonderful space and it works on the basis of "take what you need, give what you can".

The initiative is aimed at encouraging sharing, sustainability, and a deeper understanding of where food comes from.

Gaynor welcomes all members of our community to access the community pantry and it is available on our front decking area Mon-Fri from 7.30am till 5.30pm.
