At Party Paradise, we’re usually sharing the happy moments - birthdays, milestones, celebrations and all the special memories in between.

But life isn’t always a celebration.

Behind every business, every booking, every social media account and every smiling photo is a real person who may be carrying something you know nothing about.

So today is a little reminder to check in on the people around you.

Ask the question.
Listen without judgement.
Make time for the conversation.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply knowing someone genuinely cares can mean more than you realise.

And remember, you don’t have to wait for R U OK? Day to ask someone, “Are you OK?” 💛

Over the years of running Party Paradise, I’ve been incredibly lucky to cross paths with some truly amazing people and small businesses.

One of my favourite things about running a small business is the connections you make along the way. There are so many talented local businesses that I would love to support every single day.

But for this special event celebrating our beautiful boy, I wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to these amazing businesses for helping me bring everything together and create such a beautiful celebration.

Today I received a very exciting and very surprising phone call!

I’m incredibly proud to share that I have been named a FINALIST in the Australian Ladies in Business Initiative! 🥹

To have been nominated in the first place was such a shock and an honour, but to now be a finalist - that’s something else entirely!

It’s moments like this that remind me how far I’ve come and make me feel incredibly excited and proud for this new achievement.

A huge good luck to all of the other amazing finalists, what an incredible group of women to be amongst!

Feeling very grateful, excited and proud today.
