His style and approach carry a familiar old school angst, creating an intergenerational dialogue between the now and then. Going from acid house, to techno, and then synth punk, this 6 track EP captures the relentless range of the young artist.“

A super warm and progressive jazz vibe that still seems fresh and contemporary after 50+ years!

The only studio album from the then young Finnish electric piano player Heikki - now a Finnish Jazz luminary, and his Finnish/ US quintet. Formed in the late 60’s together with his brother and other young players out of Boston’s Berklee College of Music.

The album has 6 tracks over 42 mins. Here are just 6 random snippets which of course, don’t do it justice. But you can check the full LP out on YouTube!

Ah that 80s vibe. An antidote to our modern …political hellscape era. Jokes, just jokes. It’s not that bad.is it? (And anyone still remember thatcher and reagan’s 80s?). Anyhow, thanks to the UK-based label ‘Miles Away’ and Salty Miller, we can imbibe these poso vibes from the past and invite them to mingle with our present for a breezier future. 🍶⛵️🎸🪩
