Ding D**g Cake 🍰

Ingredients:
CAKE:

• 210 g flour
• 200 g sugar
• 90 g cocoa powder
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 110 g oil
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 200 g semi-liquid cream
• 230 g coffee (1 cup)

CREAM:
• 5 tbsp flour
• 100 ml milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 230 g butter
• 1 tsp sugar

ICING:
• 200 g milk chocolate (bar)
• 15 cl fresh cream

Preparation:

CAKE:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2️⃣ Mix all cake ingredients in a mixer for 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Pour into one mold or two molds.

4️⃣ Bake for 35-40 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a knife; if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked.

5️⃣ Remove from oven and let cool.

6️⃣ Cut the cake in half horizontally.

CREAM:
7️⃣ In a saucepan, mix flour with milk, stirring constantly, to make a thick mixture like béchamel sauce. Add sugar and vanilla extract.

8️⃣ Let the mixture cool, then beat with a mixer. Gradually add butter to whip it up like a chantilly cream.

9️⃣ Spread the cream on the bottom half of the cake, then place the other half on top.

ICING:
🔟 Melt the chocolate with the cream.

1️⃣1️⃣ Pour over the cake and smooth out. You can decorate as desired.

WOOHOO New Range Alert ***********
It’s not brittle it’s ’CRUNCH’ in fact the new range includes Peanut Crunch, Cashew Crunch, Hazelnut Crunch, Macadamia Crunch, Pistachio Crunch, Almond Crunch and Pecan Crunch. Can’t wait to get this on the website in the next 3 weeks. We will have this at the markets in March and will be available for wholesale as well. So so good and a fabulous alternative to brittle.
