✨ Behind the scenes at Baldivis Grove Park ✨

We’re proud to share a glimpse into the process of bringing culture, story, and community together through our latest partner project with the City of Rockingham.

From concept to creation, these designs are being carefully etched into Country—each marking holding meaning, connection, and story. Watching these elements come to life in the pathways of Baldivis Grove Park has been something truly special.

This space will not only be a place for community to gather, but also a place where culture is visible, respected, and shared every day.

Big appreciation to everyone involved in making this vision a reality 🤎

NAIDOC Week mural painting at Baldivis Secondary College 🖌️

Thank you BSC Art department for inviting me to work with your year 7-12 art classes 😄 It took us a week to create this stunning mural covering 6 individual panels. These panels are due to be installed at the Noongar bush classroom on the school grounds in the coming weeks ❤️

Officially a children’s book illustrator ✍️

Primary school me would be so proud! I remember creating story book projects all throughout primary school… writing author and illustrator followed by my name, dreaming of one day illustrating actual books.

Thank you Will at Tuna Blue for inviting me to be part of your partner project with Yorgum Healing Services. Yorgum team, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with you over our many workshops, yarning and educating me on the wonderful work that you mob do in healing our community members. It was such a phenomenal experience creating these books/materials for you, your clients, and our wider community. I am so proud of how they turned out, and I am very grateful for being a part of this project 🖤💛❤️

For our mobs 🫶🏽

On Friday October 18th, I had the pleasure of attending the 74th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists as an artist in residence within their Expo area. I met so many wonderful people at this conference, from all areas around the world! Many of whom engaged in beautiful conversations with me about Aboriginal Cultural Art, specifically Noongar symbols and story telling 🔅

Not only did I develop this beautiful artwork over the day with conference attendees, I also had the privilege of creating the Conference Artwork (did this last year) which was so beautifully presented throughout the conference. The conference theme “A gathering under the stars” encourages their members and fellow clinicians to gather on country and collaborate, share and learn to improve patient outcomes. Themes were broad with clinical radiology and radiation oncology topics as well as sessions on diversity, inclusion, cultural safety and workplace wellbeing.

Great work to Encanta and The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists 🙌🏽

Thank you for having me be part of your wonderful conference ✨

During my 2024 NAIDOC Week Artist in Residence Project with QV1 Building, Sr George's Terrace , Perth, I had the absolute pleasure of engaging in some Noongar cultural art symbolism education with a class of Kindy children from Nido Early School QV1 who visited me during my residency. The children were so intrigued and even helped me add some paint to the canvas’. At the end of my residency, Nido were the lucky bidders to win the auction purchasing this lovely artwork! They now showcase it, proudly in their centre, for the children to see every day 🔅

All funds raised from the auction were proudly donated to the Polly Farmer Foundation ❤️
