How is everyone doing? Life throws us so many challenges and though we may not always like life’s challenges, we grow and learn through them.
I think I'm just learning to not give up at the moment.
Its been a tough few years and I just needed a little time to recalibrate.
The girls and I have gone our separate ways with this page (no more three blind chicks), its back to me and "Sewn by Touch". We remain good friends though which is wonderful.
I have had some health issues that I have been getting sorted (since having breast cancer I leave nothing to chance).
My beautiful sister, (the eldest of the six of us) has passed over and it has hit me so incredibly hard I just didn't know how to move forward without her. (that's going to take some time). She was the most inspirational woman I have ever known and so much I have learnt about sewing has been from her, when I couldn't see things she always helped me find ways around it. I will miss her in almost everything that I do as we had so many similar interests and she shared many of them with me. Now its time to get up and get on which is what she always did and for me a great way to honour her memory and get me motivated with life is to sew. I am working on a little something that makes me think very much of her (difficult challenge for me) but I will persist until its finished.
I look forward to getting back into some great sewing and I thank you all for following and being a part of my journey. 😘🥰
