Personal bests don’t always come on perfect days…. A lot of the time they come when you grind it out and persist.
The weather window was literally half an hour but the ocean had other plans. After putting in the time and working the marks, this beautiful Coronation Trout smashed the AO hybrid and gave me some curry! I won’t forget seeing that colour as she was ripped up from the depths before Bruce had another feed. The colours of some species still blows my mind away! Such a pretty fish.
Moments like this are why we keep heading offshore… 1 bite can turn an ordinary day into a memory that lasts forever.
Grateful for such a breathtaking specimen. PB Coronation Trout 3.5 years still holding strong!
