Unfortunately due to eye surgery (and a cold) 🙁, I haven’t created very much this week, but I did manage to weave a bookmark or two with some leftover handspun yarns late last week. I would really love to know what you have been creating lately as I am feeling in a bit of a slump at the moment and you may just provide the spark needed to reignite my enthusiasm 🧶🩶.

Today I am featuring the perfect thoughtful, eco-conscious teacher gift. A coaster and bookmark (along with beverage bag and small chocolate) made lovingly with my very own handspun yarn, either woven by hand on a little wooden pin loom or crocheted with care to create a relaxing ritual to wash away the years stress. Time to sit down with a cuppa (and chockie) and a good book and just unwind. ‘Natural, Slow & Cosy’ just like everything here at Spindle & Spool. Today I am featuring my handspun Christmas decorations! There are only 70 days left until Christmas and you may be starting to think about getting organised for the festive season. These super cute decorations come in a set of 3 and they are all different due to the characteristics of handspun yarn and the vintage wooden cotton reels which are a variety of shapes and sizes.
