The annual blue swimmer crab spawning closure starts tomorrow 🦀

Crabbing will be prohibited in all waters, rivers and estuaries from the Swan and Canning rivers to Minninup Beach (15km south of Bunbury), including Cockburn Sound.

The closure runs from 1 September to 30 November and helps to protect breeding crabs during their spawning period - supporting healthy crab stocks and sustainable fishing opportunities for future generations.
