The tall majestic Karri Tree sways effortlessly back and forth above its surrounds
With her portraying a very happy and content demeanor to all that now observes
Sadly, beneath the glistening beige surface she has silently been suffering for quite some time
You beautiful lady, will always put on a great front, you hear!
For this is exactly why, the crowds have come to visit this stunning part of the world
Suddenly a small crack is heard close by, shortly followed by a series of others that sound worryingly similar
Unexpectedly, a branch uneasily and violently breaks off falling many metres to the ground below
It quickly splitting into a number of jagged pieces after intense impact against the uncompromising black tarmac
For the relentless hot and dry summer has finally now taken its toll on the struggling serene, ‘Karri Queen, of the Lower South West ’
We now stand guard at both ends of the bridge to desperately warn new arrivals of this dilemma
As I can’t help comparing this precarious situation to a weary fallen healthy soldier
Who, unfortunately, could no longer sustain the exhausting trauma of man’s need for greed and power
For the ‘Queen of the forest’, now finds herself fighting a sad and prolonged battle
That being against this new, and totally invisible enemy, known as ’climate change ’
We are, and have made many wise changes, but really; is it far too little, and far too late?
For this is now, undeniably, man’s longest and in deed greatest debate

Something I would really like to share with you all-:
Writing and getting just one book published many years ago was something I never thought would be possible to be achieved
However, passion and determination kept driving me on and now there are three to my name, hopefully in the future a fourth
My message being - NEVER give up on your true passion and dream to accomplish what you want in life

Calm and composed, he says his simple poem just before he launches-:

These hungry yellow blooms
are desperate to make room
For you could be the one
to allow me to have my fun

I Crave for those bright orange blooms
that are as vivid as the full white moon
So to keep me vibrant and strong
this, of course, is now where YOU belong!
