~ Yesterday at Crafted Clay Market was pure joy! 🥰🌞🫶🏼
A big, beautiful day, celebrating all things clay! Over 30 ceramicists showcasing their unique flare, pottery demonstrations & activities enjoyed by many hands, our hearts are full to the brim ❤️
Thank you for every conversation sparked, smiles, laughs and purchases, we appreciate it all! Big thanks to the Crafted Clay Market team for a seamless & well organised event! With Anika on mat leave, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all + my angel helpers on the day Irene, Vanessa & Damo 🫶🏼 So blessed and grateful, I could go on and on… Time to get back to stocktake so I can hopefully get the web-shop back up and running before the end of the day 🐢

~ May ceramics drop is now live on the web-shop ✨
This will be the last shop update before I go for a trip back to the motherland 🇮🇩 x 🇲🇾. No orders will be fulfilled between June 4th - 22nd, so if you’re in need of something between then, please be mindful of these dates and place your order in advance or after, thank you! 🐢

~ Locked & loaded to turn on first thing tomorrow morning🔥
Glazing was the worst & so many things went wrong but eventually we got there… This kiln load is filled with a lot of re-stocks, speckle salt orbs, hold & release incense vessels & garlic grater bowls as well as one-off pieces like all the new glazing experiments & horse vases. I’ll be holding my breath & crossing everything 🤞🏼🤞🏼🐢

~ A few test pieces using the clay stamps. Simple hand built dishes and bowls with impressions of birds, flowers & fish. At first I thought I would have to high-fire the stamps for them to work, but in bisque form they seem to work great! I find that the naturally ‘dry-feel’ of bisque lifts up from the wet clay’s surface easily & neatly.
I’ve very deeply fallen into this rabbit hole now. More on this journey soon, watch this space 👀🐢

We offer a flat rate shipping fee of $15.95, which is free for orders above $150. Local pick-up is available from our studio in Bibra Lake, it’s a great way to by-pass shipping fees and for anyone in need of a last minute purchase.
