I can hardly believe it, but Lunaqwa is TEN YEARS OLD!!!

From that (let’s face it) clueless idea of starting my little photography business, it’s safe to say I’ve explored a fair few ideas to get where we are today, running events up and down the region whilst attending selected favourites.

From basic framed pictures, to wearable artworks, to local wildlife (the cuddly Quokkas supporting Perth Wildlife Hospital ), to eco friendly ideas () to all things feline (supporting Cat Haven WA and Perth Animal Rescue ) to upcycling jewellery (supporting all the opshops I get the broken bits from), through a couple of less-successful shop ideas, to the taking over of Kanga Markets and Events (although RA Mosaics is still very much a big part of the team), to the recent appearances with RAG POP UP to the current website upgrade and update! Phew!!
It’s been a hell of a ride, but I’ve met an astonishing number of fabulous people along the way, many of whom have been integral in helping me through some pretty rough times. Thank you to you all, but especially to my fabulous husband James Whitehouse , who has been a constant support and believer throughout the journey.

Are we done tho? Are we hell! Strap in folks - we’re only just getting started!!!

Sorry folks, but due to illness we are now unable to attend the Cat Show with Longhaired Cat Club of WA tomorrow at Italian Club Fremantle 😢

Please go along and support all of the beautiful cats on show if you’re in the area - we will be placing our Cat Items on our newly refurbished website in the coming weeks and yes, of course the donations for Cat Haven WA and Perth Animal Rescue will absolutely still apply xx

Our Feline display is coming together ahead of the Longhaired Cat Club of WA Championship Show this Sunday - here’s a sneak peek at the pendants and studs - I just need to sort the bracelets, pin badges and then the ornaments, and we will be all set!!
So if you’re FELINE frisky, then be sure to drop in at Italian Club Fremantle between 9.30-3pm on Sunday! Don’t forget, EVERY cat product we sell includes a donation to BOTH Cat Haven WA and Perth Animal Rescue 😻

Sorting out more earrings for Sunday with Longhaired Cat Club of WA under the careful supervision of Benjamin - he will NOT be showing this time, but maybe my little Bronze Premier may venture out again some time in the future…

… here’s a sneak peek of a VERY small selection of the earrings which will be on offer from our little stand at Longhaired Cat Club Championship Show this Sunday 23rd August at Fremantle Italian Club PLUS every cat-related item we sell includes a donation to BOTH Perth Animal Rescue AND Cat Haven WA 😻
The Showcats will all be in by 8.30, judging starts at 9am and there’s public access from 9.30am - event runs til 4pm - I think there’s a gold coin or certainly minimal entry fee, but best to check directly with the Club 😻
