Things I’d never tell you to do if you want your kid to actually love creativity.
Don’t buy the expensive art set before you know if they’ll stick with it, start casual.
Don’t correct how they’re holding the brush, ever.
And don’t make the artwork the reward, because the doing is the reward, or it isn’t process art at all.
Three small shifts, and they change everything about whether a kid keeps coming back to creativity or quietly gives up on it.
