Gifts By Cassie Personalised Gifts for Every Occasion!! Welcome to Gifts By Cassie!! Needless to say this did not go down well.. They have truly saved my life..

Ok a little bit about me...
I am a Mother to a very Cheeky, Stubborn, Mischievous and Gorgeous Little 2 year old girl who is my absolute world! When she was 9 months old I had a silly simple fall which little did we know was about to turn our whole world upside down. Fast forward 3 weeks and they finally let me out of Hospital wheelchair bound (for six months at the most they say) turns out I near

on destroyed my knee (list of injuries is beyond crazy!!) now to head home and fumble through what is now our life. So in one simple fall I went from being an incredibly independant strong willed person to someone who needed A LOT of help with the most simple of everyday things. If it had not of been for my Partner Aaron I do not know where I would be today to say I appreciate him does not even begin to cover it!! So now 18 months later after a lot of mistakes and non communication between the hospital and my list of Specialists and Doctors I am still in the wheelchair and going insane with frustration! This is a long painful road to recovery... We still don't know what level of recovery I will be able to reach as some of the injuries will be permament. Some days I want to crawl into a corner and give up, some days I wonder if I will ever get there.. But then I look at my Beautiful Daughter who loves her Mummy more than Peppa Pig and Ice cream (well most days...) and my Partner who through all the tears, frustration (from both of us haha) and agony still loves me and drives me crazy fussing over me.. and I find my Inspiration my Reason to keep trying and not give up!! They say find your passion and make it your Job! This is what I am doing here. I love the look on peoples faces when you give them a wow gift! To give that memorable gift to someone special... Letting them know how special they are or how much you appreciate them is the best feeling!! I make everything from Gift Tags & Cards to Nappy Cakes and Hampers!! As I am just starting this page now (because I am being continually asked for photos and a way to be contacted.. haha) it is going to take me a little time to get up and running properly so please bear with me :-D
I am really excited to show you what I have to offer with my range of gifts for every occasion! Looking for that special stand out gift? Come and have a chat.. Let me know your budget and anything special you want added and we will together create something memorable! Or have a look through my albums (more photos coming soon i promise!) and pick something from there! All Nappy Cakes, Hampers, Mini Hampers, Pamper Packs, Gift Packs, Cards & Tags (Ok so everything! haha) can be customised to suit your needs, themes and budget! Looking forward to working together to meet all your gift giving needs :-) xx

Thought id go with something bold today! πŸ˜‰
Out of my comfort zone for sure! πŸ€ͺ

Mood and mental health play an important role in many aspects of women's lives. They may affect relationships, self-esteem, work performance and even physical health. Research shows possible connections between certain mental health conditions and physical ailments, such as heart disease and gastrointestinal issues.

"I'm participating in the Liptember campaign and I'll be wearing bright lippy throughout the whole month of September to raise much-needed funds and awareness for women's mental health. Please donate to my page to support me and this worthy cause

Warmest,
Cassie 😘
Remember, every little bit counts and a little goes a long way to making a very big impact.
As someone who has struggled with their Mental Health for as long as I can remember and seeing so many people I know struggle with it, I know first hand the impact it has on the individual and the people in their lives.
The importance of women's mental health lies in its profound impact on not only their individual well-being but also on families, communities, and society as a whole.
Promoting and prioritising women's mental health is essential for fostering healthy, equitable, and thriving communities. By supporting women's mental well-being, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society for everyon
Awareness empowers women to prioritise their mental well-being and take proactive steps to maintain good mental health. When women are informed, they are more likely to practice self-care and seek help when needed. Early detection and intervention are crucial for managing mental health concerns effectively.

Personalised Christmas Baubles πŸŽ„

17/10/2021

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post..
Yesterday there was a fire in our Workshop.
We believe it was a rechargeable battery on charge that has caused it. There wasn't anyone home at the time and thankfully for our fast thinking neighbours (and their trusty garden hose) they called the Fire Brigade and kept it at bay until they arrived!!
Our Workshop is gone but Gifts By Cassie is not!!
Once we work out Insurance etc we will rebuild!
It might just take a little time...
In the meantime all our personalised items Wine glasses, Hip Flasks, Drink Bottles, Books etc are all still available!! It will mainly be the Chopping, Grazing and Cheese Boards that will be down for a bit. So much is still available to order so please don't hesitate to send me a message if you're for that personalised gift!! Christmas is only around the corner and I would still love to help you add that special personalised touch to you gifts ❀❀

β›ˆ Take action with severe weather coming in parts of the South West, Lower South West, Great Southern β›ˆ

Update time: 04:42 PM, 08 August 2021

πŸ—Ί If you live in the South West and parts of South Coastal and Great Southern districts you should take action and stay safe with severe weather to come.

πŸ—Ί Locations which may be affected include Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Manjimup, Margaret River and Mount Barker.

❗ WHAT TO DO ❗

DFES advises you to:
If outside find safe shelter away from trees, powerlines, storm water drains and streams.
Close your curtains and blinds, and stay inside away from windows.
Unplug electrical appliances and avoid using landline telephones if there is lightning.
If there is flooding, create your own sandbags by using pillow cases filled with sand and place them around doorways to protect your home.
If boating, swimming or surfing leave the water.
IF DRIVING:
Do not drive into water of unknown depth and current.
Slow down, turn your lights on and keep a safe distance from other drivers.
Be alert and watch for hazards on the road such as fallen powerlines and loose debris.
If it is raining heavily and you cannot see, pull over and park with your hazard lights on until the rain clears.

This is typical weather for this time of the year but winds may cause damage to property and make road conditions hazardous.

❗ WHAT TO DO ❗

DFES advises you to:
Keep away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Be careful of fallen trees, damaged buildings and debris.
Keep clear of fallen powerlines, they are dangerous and should always be treated as live.
Assess your home, car and property for damage.
Check to see if your neighbour needs help.
If damage has occurred, take photos and contact your insurance company to organise permanent repairs.
If your home has significant damage, like a badly damaged roof or flooding, call the SES on 132 500.

Conditions will ease for a period, before another strong cold front moves over the southwest again during Monday afternoon and evening.Thunderstorms and showers associated with the fronts may produce damaging winds, with peak gusts to around 100km/hour possible and could cause damage to homes and property. Conditions will ease for a period between dawn and early Monday afternoon.Tides between Cape Naturaliste and Albany are likely to rise above the normal high tide mark with very rough seas and potential flooding of low-lying coastal areas. Tides between Bunbury and Cape Naturaliste are likely to be higher than expected. Damaging surf conditions are likely, which could cause beach erosion.
