Interesting DM from my story yesterday about if you trained off that Xmas 🎄 pud

While I’m all for opinions, I’m so NOT ok with negativity and not knowing the whole story of my 4.5 years of health issues.

Not being able to exercise months at a time due to extreme fatigue, body aches, gut issues and so much more is a hard pill to swallow.

BUT I worked my absolute ASS off to get better ❤️‍🩹 to feel better, to feel human again especially after my big surgery.

I have lost count of how many times I have had to start all over again with meds, supps, ways to reduce stress, closing my biz all to feel a level of NORMAL again.

I AM taking care of myself. I am trying my best to rest, recover and regain my strength.

So NO I don’t want to over indulge just because it’s a celebration. NO I don’t want anyone to think I’m a total health ju**ie. IF you know me and followed me for years, you know I 100% believe in moderation and living for the good times.

I want to work out 🏋️ for me.

I want to work out because I bloody well can AND I am LOVING 🥰 it so much.

⭐️ I have a BETTER goal for this body

For years it was mostly about weight loss and maintaining. A little for mental health and sometimes to grow the muscles.

NOW it’s more to build the body I have always wanted. Fit, toned, strong and healthy.

▪️ The weight is gone, the low self esteem is gone, the work stress is gone, the lack of time is now gone.

▪️Now I start a new journey through recovery of weight training.

▪️Now I combine everything I have learnt over the years and train to build this body that has been through so much.

I worked so hard before my op to get in the best shape I could with the time I had. Now I feel as though I have given myself the best head start to heal, grow and recover ❤️‍🩹

It’s taken me a solid 12 months of work to get back here with this body. I kept gaining weight and got to 72kg no matter how good I was with food and exercise.

▪️With all my gut health issues over the past 4 years, this last year has been the toughest both mentally and physically.

▪️From extremely strict eating changes, to multiple tests, hospital trips, strict supplements and meds routine to working more on my mind set.

▪️It didn’t matter if I worked out everyday or not my body just didn’t want to work for so long to get rid of the kg. My digestion was s**t, I had issues with large and small intestines, low iron, low white blood cells, extreme fatigue, too high adrenaline times. My body was not shifting the weight. Daily bloating, water retention was so bad.

▪️But here I am back in my size 10, 63-64kg re built a lot my muscle and strength, my mind set is so much better, everything is working I’d say at least 80% better.

▪️I don’t eat crap, I just can’t I get too sick, body aches, tired, moody and all that depressing s**t.

▪️I have been 95% GF DF for years, but now I am low carb (no starches so no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes) loads of veg, some fruit, good fats, can’t really eat much red meat 🥩 it takes about 2 days to get over eating a small piece of steak. Cut out caffeine ☕️ and limited alcohol.

I worked with for 6 months and monthly visits with naturopath, finally on ADHD meds and now mostly follow for all my food plans.

Just don’t give up, keep asking questions, try the alternative route to doctors, get those tests done, And keep your head up high.

A few kg down in a few weeks and NOT even lying about how great I feel already.
I generally eat quite healthy anyway, BUT healthy isn't just a 1 size fits all.

So many of us here have gut health issues 😡 and many will often be told by a Dr we just have IBS. HELLLOOOOOO there is ALWAYS an underlying issue here. To get to the bottom of my gut health (which changes here and there due to many factors) I 100% suggest get onto a great naturopath that can do electro frequency testing and a really good nutritionist.

They are (not all) definitely more so champs in their field of expertise.

Something as simple as Food Combining has made a dramatic impact on my health the past couple of week.

AM I BACK? not going to give you false promises BUT I feel ready to come back to this space in a whole new way.

It’s been a full on past 3 months where I have not been here posting.
WHY?
I needed a break, I needed to sit back and really assess the WHY am I even on Social Media.
🩷 What do I have to offer
🩷 How much of myself am I willing to give?
🩷 How much time do I want to give to others?
🩷 How do I really feel after not having a business?
AND the questions just keep coming (that shall do for now)

I don’t have the answer, not fully yet, just that I know that I have helped so many woman in my years of MKM and I want to still be someone who can offer some real experiences, some fun, share my inspirational people, daily living, struggles, anxiety, mum life and so much more.

One of my NON negotiables 💜 Self care
I use to say things like:
▪️I have no time ⏰
▪️It costs too much money 💵
▪️Kids keep me busy
▪️I’ll just do it next month

NOT anymore. I focused on my health, last 2 years more on me. Happy wife/mum happy life.

💜 It’s seriously true, when I feel good, refreshed and happy my whole family notices and love it.

💜 We are very big on self care, self love, personal time and space in our house and I teach the kids all the time about looking after ourselves to in turn help each other.

💜 TIP #1 MONEY saving, I put away $5 notes, save coins, and sometimes empty my purse with some other notes each week and set aside for the ME time.
💜 Tip #2 PRE book your appointments before you leave your appointment

💜 Don’t feel bad for doing it. It’s time to remind yourself that pampering is a NECESSITY
