GuitarWorks Bedford is looking to Guitar Tutor to commence teaching in 1st Term 2020.

We are looking for a guitar teacher who has flexibility and can work after school hours (3.30-8.00pm Weekdays & 9.00 am- 2.00 pm Saturdays).

The successful candidate will need to have a caring and patient approach when dealing with students of all levels and ages. There are many children undertaking guitar lessons, so the candidate will need to be good with children, but also have the ability to change their teaching style when they work with teenagers and adults.
* Teach the students technical work including scales, finger exercises, guitar technique and good posture
* Help students learn the repertoire of their choice through method books/sheet music/tablature/by ear
* Teach students to read music to the best of their ability and develop them as a well-rounded musician
* Help prepare students for exams/performances of their choice

The successful candidate will require the following credentials/attributes:
* Diploma or Bachelor in Music, or the equivalent standard
* Be well presented and polite
* Have experience in teaching guitar
* WWC & Current Drivers Licence
* Be motivated and passionate about teaching
* Have the ability to make students feel at ease, and help build their self-esteem
