Dear Eco Revolution beloved customers and friends,

After 6 years of our eco journey, it’s time for us to call the final curtain call. Eco Revolution team would like to announce that we are closing our door for the last time on this Sunday 16/09/2024.

6 years ago, we were just a humble couple who wanted to spread the love of sustainable living to everyone and decided to start a little shop in Morley in 2018. Since then, with the help from our parents, our little business was loved more days by days. Many of you have joint our eco journey which made us so grateful. Even when we moved to Inglewood on 2021, we also got ourselves more friends than we’ve ever thought 💚

However, we think it’s time now for us to step back, being more with our family and having time for ourselves. Although our store in Inglewood and our website will be closing, we are still doing wholesale on bulk cleaning supplies. Simply send us an email to [email protected] for the wholesale price list or any other related inquiries. 📩

To express our last gratitude to you, we offer 50% discount on everything left in our Inglewood store this final week (Thursday to Sunday). Please come down so we can say goodbye to you as well 😊

We would like to say a big thank to our customers, suppliers and friends that we have made over the past 6 years. Also great appreciation to our parents, who made Eco Revolution team the most proactive and supportive team we could ever ask for! This has been an amazing journey for us 🪴

As you know our Recycle Station has finished couple months ago. And since many of you asked for alternative places to drop off recycles, here are some stores/ community places we would recommend:

♻️ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺:
1 City Farm Pl, East Perth.
They have a very organised recycle station there, where you can drop off almost everything we took before. Also check out their website, they have many interesting workshops and weekend farmer’s market was held there too ☀️

♻️ 𝗥𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗪𝗔:
1 Prospect Pl, West Perth.
REmida directly repurposes discarded materials into education and arts programs. They love corks, metal lids, ringpulls, rubber bands, CD/DVDs and many more.. Contact them for the list of what you can drop off. They organise great workshops for kids or schools as well.

♻️ 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲:
125 King William St, Bayswater.
There’s a recycling drop-off station outside Enviro House. Plastic lids, plastic containers, plastic flower pots, bread tags, sport equipment… can be dropped off there. Contact them if you’re looking for gardening workshops 🪴

♻️ 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳.)

If you’ve seen the recycled puzzles or tapas bowls in our store before you would know them as the name Made in the City of.. Green World Revolution is a social enterprise and charity on a mission to help end poverty by growing jobs for unemployed people. They recycle plastics, turn them into useful products or kids toys. So drop off your plastic lids to them, they will love it!

We unfortunately cannot continue support you with recycling, but we hope you will continue doing this, so do we at home 🙂 Please also support small businesses or community groups who are making your recycle way more easy!

Recycling right is a big good step to help protecting our planet! You are doing a great job, please keep it going!! 🌏🪴♻️

Updating on WA single used plastic ban Stage 2

Stage 2 of the WA Plan for Plastics came into effect on 27 February 2023. Stage 2 includes a second set of single-use or disposable plastic items and materials that will be phased out between 1 September 2023 and 1 July 2025. The Stage 2 regulations ban the sale and supply of:
* loose and moulded expanded polystyrene packaging
* degradable plastics (plastics designed to break up more rapidly into fragments under certain conditions).
* produce bags
* expanded polystyrene cups and food trays for raw meat and seafood
* coffee cups and lids
* lids for cups, bowls, trays, plates and takeaway food containers
* trays for food not covered in the Stage 1 ban
* cotton buds with plastic stems
* microbeads.

Transition periods for the phase-out of Stage 2 items will allow businesses to run down supplies and make plans for alternative processes and packaging.

We know that many of you parents are excited that your kids are back to school tomorrow 🙌😉 So do we!! But it’s a bit more special for us as our girl will start school tomorrow. It will be her first day of Kindy 😆 So excited!!
And because of that, we will close our shop tomorrow at 2pm. The family will surprise her by all going pick her up from school on her first day 🤭
Only tomorrow and we’ll open at usual time on Thursday.
Hope your children will have a good day being back to school or going to school tomorrow!! 🤩
