✨ Meet our guest artist, Shamiah!

We’re so excited to welcome Shamiah from Banksia Brush Collective | Boorloo into our Creative Play Friday community this term.

Shamiah is a local artist & mum with a love of watercolour, nature and creating spaces for connection and self-expression. 🌸

Over the coming weeks, Shamiah will be joining us for selected sessions, bringing her own creative magic and giving our little artists the opportunity to create alongside a practising local artist. 🥰

Last Friday was all about things that go, roll, fly and zoom ✨

Little hands were busy exploring, creating, painting, scooping and imagining their way through our On the Move play invitations — with plenty of time to follow their own ideas along the way.

🪶 What a beautiful morning we shared together!

The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and little ones spent the morning immersed in nature-inspired play.

From mixing leafy potions and creating bird masks to decorating giant garden birds, exploring sensory invitations and painting amongst the trees, there was so much creativity, curiosity and connection.

Thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us for our Feathered Friends session. These gentle mornings in the garden are truly something special. 🌿💛

This week at Creative Play Friday we're celebrating our Feathered Friends!

We'll be slowing down to discover some of Australia's beautiful birds through child-led creative play and nature exploration.

🌿 A beautiful morning celebrating National Tree Day together.

Last Friday we explored nature through creative play, took our first steps in creating our community garden, and enjoyed the simple magic of slowing down outdoors.

Thank you to the wonderful families who joined us. We can't wait to watch our little garden—and our community—grow together. ❤️

🌿 This week at Imagination Haven, we're celebrating National Tree Day! 🌿

Join us this Friday as we slow down, connect with nature and celebrate the incredible trees around us.

Together we'll be:
🌱 Starting work on our very own community garden
🍃 Exploring beautiful nature-based play invitations
🌿 Creating, discovering and connecting through open-ended play

There's something special about little hands caring for the natural world. We can't wait to begin creating a space that will continue to grow with our community throughout the seasons.
