We’re a family-run model train business based in Western Australia, operated by a dad and his two sons.

Just starting out and currently without a physical shopfront, we focus on buying, selling, and trading model trains and accessories.

🚆🔥 NOT LONG TO GO UNTIL RAILFEST! 🔥🚆

The countdown is well and truly on, and the Trackies team is working into the night, bagging, sorting and pricing as much stock as we possibly can ready for RAILFEST!

We’ve just finished working our way through HUNDREDS of cars and vehicles, all bagged and ready to go. Now we’re moving onto the knick-knacks — and believe us, there’s plenty to get through!

Every box we open seems to uncover something else, from little scenery pieces and accessories to all those random bits and pieces that make a layout come to life.

🎉 500 FOLLOWERS!!! 🎉

What an incredible milestone for Trackies Model Railway — 500 followers!

We want to say a massive thank you to every single person who has supported us along the way. Whether you’ve bought something from us, come along to one of our sale days, stopped for a chat, liked a post or simply followed along — thank you!

A special thank you to the people who tell their friends about Trackies, share our posts and help spread the word. For a small family-run business like ours, that support means more than you probably realise.

We also want to thank everyone who takes the time to share their knowledge and experience with others. One of the best parts of the model railway hobby is the amount of knowledge within the community and the willingness to pass it on to the next person.

And of course, a huge thank you to all the model railway clubs and groups that recommend us, support what we’re doing and continue putting in the time and effort to keep the passion for model railways alive.

Trackies might be growing, but what matters most to us is seeing the WA model railway community growing along with it — especially all the new faces and people getting into the hobby.

🚨 TRACKIES HAVE BEEN BUSY! 🚨

Just when we thought we had enough to sort through… we’ve gone and picked up another MASSIVE collection!

This one consists of FOUR different layouts, absolutely packed with model railway goodies. We’re talking locomotives, rolling stock, buildings, cars, scenery and more little knick-knacks than you can poke a stick at!

And trust us — there’s plenty more that you CAN’T see in the photos! This is only a small look at what we’ve brought home.

We’ve only just started going through it all, and over the coming weeks we’ll be busy sorting, testing and pricing everything ready to find new homes.

Collections like this are exactly why we love what we do. You never quite know what you’re going to uncover in the next box!

Keep an eye on the page because we’ll be sharing plenty of sneak peeks as we work our way through this monster collection.

The Trackies stockpile just got a whole lot bigger! 🚆🔥
