At Trackies Model Railway, we try to make buying a locomotive as simple and straightforward as possible.

That’s why our stickers and branding aren’t just there to look good — they all have a purpose!

Our labelling clearly identifies whether a locomotive is:

DC
DCC Ready
DCC
DCC Dual Mode

And for all of our DCC and Dual Mode locomotives, you’ll also receive a Trackies information slip showing:

Date checked
Decoder address
Whether the locomotive has sound or not

We know there’s nothing worse than buying a locomotive and wondering what’s actually inside it or how it’s set up.

It’s just another small thing we do at Trackies to take the guesswork out of buying and make it easier for you to get your new locomotive onto the layout and running!

🚆 Another Sale Day Done & Dusted! 🚆

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported another Trackies Model Railway Sale Day!

It’s always great catching up with our regular customers, but what really stood out today was the number of new faces we saw through the doors. It’s fantastic to see so many people discovering—or rediscovering—this amazing hobby.

Whether you picked up your first model train, added another locomotive to the collection, or simply stopped by for a chat, we really appreciate your support.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip out to Bellevue. Your support helps us continue to grow, bring in more stock, and keep the Western Australian model railway community thriving.

If you missed out this time, don’t worry—we’re already working on the next sale day and have plenty more stock to sort through!

🚆 It’s Not Just Trains We’re Busy With! 🚆

Getting ready for this weekend isn’t just about pricing trains and filling the tables!

We’ve also been busy designing a range of controller holders for some of the most popular brands. Designed to keep your controller secure and within easy reach, they’re a simple solution to stop it sliding off the edge of your layout.

Every holder has been designed and 3D printed in-house by the Trackies team using high-quality filament , ready to make your modelling sessions that little bit easier.

We’re still designing a couple more models this week, so they’ll be ready in time for this weekend’s sale!

If you have a controller that you’d like a holder for, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’d be more than happy to see what we can design for you.

🚆 You Never Know What’s Going to Come Through the Trackies Door! 🚆

One of the best parts about what we do is that you never know what the next collection is going to contain!
