🌧️☀️ BEHIND THE MARKET STALL – RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE! ☀️🌧️
There's a side to market days that our customers don't always get to see... and today is a perfect example! ☔💨
When you visit a market, you see the beautiful stalls, amazing handmade products and friendly faces. But what you don't always see is everything that goes on behind the scenes to get us there.
For small businesses and local makers like us, market day starts long before we set up our stalls.
🛍️ We've paid our stall fees.
🎨 We've spent hours creating, making and preparing stock.
📦 We've packed, loaded and transported everything.
⏰ We've given up our weekends and invested our time, money and energy.
And then... Mother Nature decides to have her say! 🌧️
The reality is, whether it's pouring rain or beautiful sunshine, we've already made that investment. If we don't turn up, we lose money. And when the weather turns bad, even if we do turn up, we risk losing money when the crowds stay home.
But we still show up, because we love what we do, we believe in our little businesses and appreciate every single person who supports us. ❤️

Next time the weather isn't looking perfect on market day, don't automatically cross the markets off your plans!
☔ Grab an umbrella, throw on a raincoat, pull on your gumboots and come support your local makers, creators and small businesses!
Because markets are about so much more than just shopping! ❤️
They're about getting out of the house, spending time with family and friends, discovering something new, meeting the people behind the products and making memories together.
🌈 Sometimes the best memories come from the unexpected moments — dancing in the rain, splashing through puddles, laughing at the crazy weather and sharing an adventure with the people you love!
You might forget what the weather was like, but you'll remember the fun you had! 💕
