A floor rug can completely change the feel of a room without changing the permanent flooring. 🥰

🏠 What a rug can do to a space?

Define an area – Helps separate zones in open-plan spaces, such as creating a clear living or dining area.
Make a room feel more inviting – Adds warmth, softness and comfort, particularly over hard flooring.
Add colour & personality – A rug can introduce colour, patterns or texture without committing to repainting or replacing flooring.
Tie the room together – Pulls together the colours of the flooring, furniture, curtains and décor to create a more cohesive look.
Make a space feel larger – Choosing the right size and positioning can visually connect furniture and make the room feel more spacious.
Add warmth – Rugs can make timber, tile, hybrid and other hard floors feel warmer and more comfortable underfoot.
Soften a room – They can reduce the hard, stark feeling that can sometimes come from rooms with lots of hard surfaces.
Improve acoustics – Rugs can help absorb sound and reduce echoes, especially in larger open rooms.
Protect your flooring – They can help protect high-traffic areas and flooring from everyday wear and furniture movement.

✨ A great customer tip

Don’t choose the rug too small. In a living room, ideally the rug should be large enough for at least the front legs of the main seating to sit on it. This helps the furniture feel connected rather than scattered around the room.

Simple formula:
Rug + flooring + furniture + window furnishings = a more finished, cohesive space.
